MANAMA, Bahrain: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Javed Malik met with the office bearers of the Pakistan Bahrain Business Council under the auspices of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce in order to promote closer engagement between the Business communities of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Javed Malik highlighted the business, trade and investment opportunities in Pakistan and urged the businessmen to take advantage of the investor friendly policies of the government.

The Businessmen representing various business groups in Bahrain expressed their keen interest in Pakistan and it was decided with mutual consensus to revive the Pakistan Bahrain Business Council and finalize a roadmap aimed at expanding and enhancing the economic ties between both countries.

The Businessmen present in the meeting included Muhammed Al Koheji, Mohammed Usman, Muhammad Amin Al-Khaja, Rashid Al Hamar, Faisal Engineer, and senior officials of Pakistan Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The businessmen also agreed that delegations of businessmen between both countries should be frequently exchanged, and the Pakistan-Bahrain Business Forum to be organized in Pakistan in which Bahraini businessmen should be urged to take part.
