ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: While lauding the role of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the competence of PAF is matchless.
In a meeting with the Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman who called on him at the PM House in Islamabad on Monday and apprised him on the professional excellence and operational preparedness of PAF, the prime minister appreciated the role of Pakistan Air Force in safeguarding Pakistan’s air frontiers.
The prime minister said that it is encouraging that Pakistan Air Force’ traditional role has assumed new dimensions according to the changing times and advancement in technology.
Nawaz Sharif said that the contribution of Pakistan Air Force in destroying the hideouts and safe heavens of terrorists in the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb is indeed commendable.
Historically, our air force has invariably responded to threats to our national security that has been admired by the world, the premier said.
