ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan ambassador to China Masood Khalid lauding Pakistan and Chinese multi-dimensional ties covering Defence, Economic, Cultural and Educational fields in the region said it would further augment in future.

While talking to Radio Pakistan’s Current Affairs programme, he said leadership of both the countries counted the security of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Beijing as the game changing project which was important for both the countries.

He said the Chinese leadership has lauded the efforts of Pakistan Army in the fight against terrorists especially in Zarb-e-Azb and added that the Chinese leadership also acknowledged the sacrifices of men in uniform and civilian.

The ambassador said the two countries have the ongoing counter terror cooperation.

He mentioned the joint production of JF-17 Thunder fighter plane and frigates for Pakistan Navy as examples of ongoing defence cooperation.

He said Beijing and Islamabad have also common views on Afghanistan. China and Pakistan’s multi-dimensional friendship which is playing an important role for the region.
