IndiaOver 47 Indian soldiers killed in Galwan Valley Ladakh by Chinese forces

New Delhi, India: The latest information coming from Galwan Valley Ladakh on the early hours of Wednesday suggests that the Indian Army lost over 47 soldiers.

The death toll can go up as over 110 soldiers were wounded seriously in the face-off with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley on Monday evening.

Ironically no condolences came from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to families of killed soldiers till the filing of this report.

Indian Army is confirming the figure of 20 dead and several wounded. However, information pouring from the region suggest the number of wounded Indian Army officials is also much higher than 100.

Information suggests that dead Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu hailed from Suryapet town in the Indian state of Telangana. He was Commanding Officer of the 16th battalion of Bihar Regiment and only son of his parents.

Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu had been living with his wife and nine-year-old daughter Abhigna and four-year-old son Anil, in Delhi and was posted in Ladakh.

His record indicates that he did his matriculation and 12th grade from Korukonda Sainik School and then went to the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy.

Misadventures of Modi government cost heavy at Indo-Nepal border this week where Nepali Border Police killed several Indians who tried to trespass into Nepal. Now Chinese forces have killed over 47 soldiers along with Commanding Officer.

A large number of retired military officers on their social media accounts are saying that it is a sheer embarrassment for chest-thumping nationalism of the right-wing majoritarian ruling party that India entered into conflicts with China and Nepal without planning and without calculating risk factor.
