ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has said that over 1.3 million people have so far been vaccinated against COVID-19 across the Country.
While addressing a News Conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that 60 to 70,000 COVID-19 vaccines are currently being administered on daily basis and it is our effort to enhance it to 150,000 to 200,000 after Eid-ul-Fitr.
The minister said that 900,000 vaccines were available in the Country last night.
Asad Umar said that if the Country receives COVID-19 vaccines as per the commitments, the vaccination will be opened for all the Pakistanis after Eid-ul-Fitr.
The federal minister once again urged the people to fully comply with the health guidelines to avoid the spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, 4,318 more people tested positive for Coronavirus across the Country in the last 24 hours showing a positive ratio of 8.54% while 118 succumbed to it.

So far, a total of 729,920 Coronavirus Cases have been reported in the Country since the beginning whereas 15,619 people have died of the infection.
