ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has said that the opposition had opted for politics of confrontation which may hamper the process of the progress in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that the opposition was not interested in any investigation, and only wanted to have political gains due to the issue.
To a question he said, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had been making different demands every now and then as its Chairman Imran Khan has recently demanded the government to involve National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate Panama Leaks issue.
The Minister said that the government did agree to all demands of the opposition parties but it came up with new stipulations on different occasions.
