ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The number of fully COVID vaccinated people across Pakistan will cross the 30 million mark today (October 2, 2021), the Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said.
In a Twitter statement on Saturday, Asad Umar said that by now the single dose of COVID vaccine has been administered to more than 60 million people throughout the Country.
The minister reiterated the hope that by December 31, the number of fully vaccinated people will reach 70 million in the Country.
Asad Umar also appealed the people to vaccinate themselves against the virus.

Earlier on October 1, 1,219,026 people were vaccinated across Pakistan which took the number of total vaccines administered till date to 84,039,376.
Meanwhile, further 1,664 COVID-19 Cases were reported and 46 infected persons passed away in the last 24 hours across the Country.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said that the positivity ratio remained 3.21%.
