Kasur: Nomination papers of Pervez Musharraf has been rejected from Kasur NA-139 as Returning Officer District and Session Judge Mohammad Saleem considered Musharraf unfit to contect election in the light of Article 62-63 of Constitution of pakistan that indicates that contestant must have appropriate knowledge about Islam.
Rival candidate Javed Kasuri had raised six objections against Musharraf’s candidature. In its objection, Kasuri said that Musharraf was unfit to contest elections in the light of Article 62, 62 of the Constitution. He said that Musharraf had been facing several cases.
