No one will dare to disturb peace in Karachi in future: President Mamnoon

KARACHI, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that in future no one will dare to disturb the law and order situation in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest metropolitan city riddled with terrorist and criminal activities.

In his address at the convocation of Jinnah University for Women in Karachi on Saturday, the president vowed to revert Karachi to its original status of the city of lights.

The president said that the government is fully determined to eradicate terrorism from the country. He said that the military operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till elimination of the last terrorist from the country.

Mamnoon Hussain said that law and order situation has improved in Balochistan and Karachi as a result of the effective measures taken by the government.

President Mamnoon assured that the killers of professors Shakil Auj and Dr Waheed-ur Rehman would be arrested soon.

On the occasion, he urged the students to work hard to play their due role in development of the country. He said that instead of following the West blindly we have to protect our social values.
