New date of President Xi Jinping’s visit to Pakistan to be decided soon: China

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The new date of President Xi Jinping’s visit to Pakistan will be decided as soon as the political situation in Pakistan becomes normal, the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad said.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, a senior official of the Chinese embassy said that both sides are holding consultation so that the visit could take place at an early date.

The official brushed aside the speculations that the postponement of the Chinese president’s visit could affect Pak-China ties in any manner whatsoever.

The senior official of the Chinese embassy categorically stated that all those projects agreed between the two countries will be pushed forward and implemented in letter and spirit.

To a question, the official said that China’s relations with Pakistan cannot be compared in any manner with any other country.
