Nawaz Sharif is likely to attend 18th SAARC summit in Kathmandu

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to attend the 18th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit being held in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu on November 26 and 27.

It was stated by the Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam in her weekly media briefing in Islamabad on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, the visiting Foreign Minister of Nepal Mahendra Bahadur Panday called on Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad and formally extended an invitation to him to attend the 18th SAARC summit in Kathmandu.
