ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif have agreed to resolve current political crisis in the best national interest at the earliest.
The agreement came in a meeting between the two leaders held in Islamabad on Tuesday, during which they discussed prevailing situation besides overall security situation of the country.
The prime minister and the COAS also held discussion about the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb against the militants in the North Waziristan tribal region.
