ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP)-led government and its coalition partners have agreed to dissolve the National Assembly (NA) before March 15 followed by the general elections in May, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Wednesday.

During the meeting held at the President House, MNA from FATA Munir Khan Orakzai suggested that the NA should be dissolved on March 14 that was unanimously accepted by the leaders.

With regard to the dissolution of assemblies and holding elections, another meeting will be called to finalize the date. While law minister will prepare the relevant documents for the same purpose.

It was decided in the meeting that PML (Q) leader Ch. Shujaat Hussain will take Tahirul Qadri into confidence over the dissolution of assemblies.

Meanwhile, Israrullah Zahiri demanded to end the governor rule in Balochistan on which the President Asif Ali Zardari responded that soon he will know the future of it.
