National AssemblyNational Assembly passes unanimous resolution condemning terrorist attack in Brussels

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Assembly on Thursday passed a unanimous resolution strongly condemning the terrorist attack in Brussels killing 34 people and injuries to over 200.

The resolution, moved by Shazia Marri said that the world must stand united to combat this menace and reaffirm its unwavering resolve to stop, by all means, all forms of terrorism worldwide.

The House through the resolution expressed deepest sympathies and condolences with the families of the victims of the brutalities and urged all the states and peace loving people of the world to take all necessary steps to protect the peaceful community all over the world against every form of extremism and terrorism.

Earlier, the House, on a point of order of Mahmood Khan Achakzai observed one minute silence to express solidarity with victims of Brussels’s terrorist attack.
