PakistanMusharraf’s residence declared sub-jail

ISLAMABAD: Chief Commissioner Tariq Pirzada has declared former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s residence located in Chak Shahzed in the outskirts of the capital as sub-jail, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Thursday.

A notification has been issued in this regard.

Earlier this morning, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) rejected bail application of former military ruler in judges’ detention case and ordered his arrest.

Musharraf, however, escaped from the premises of the IHC after the cancellation of his bail application by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui in the judges’ detention case.

Immediately after the bail cancellation, police tried to reach him but he was escorted by his personal security, fleeing in his bullet-proof black four-wheeler.
