LONDON/KARACHI: Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday asked all communities especially Muhajirs to get ready for hard time ahead. Meanwhile, the MQM Rabita Committee demanded the removal of Additional Inspector General (AIG) Police Shahid Hayat immediately.

In a statement issued from London this evening, the MQM chief said that actions were being taken by Sindh regime against the MQM under false allegations.

The MQM chief said that it seemed the provincial government had started the ethnic cleansing of Muhajirs.

Hussain also condemned false accusations against the MQM which included Jinnahpur, Muhajir Republican Army and now the recovery of Indian-made weapons from a party office.

On Tuesday, Sindh Rangers claimed to have recovered Indian-made weapons from the office of a political party in Karachi.

“Indian made weapons have been recovered from the office of the political party,” said the spokesman of Sindh Rangers in a statement in an obvious reference to MQM.
