MQM demands formation of new provinces

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar said on Friday that new provinces should be carved out on the basis of administrative requirements, adding that a commission should be set up to speed up work for this purpose.

The MQM leader said that one reason of prevailing circumstance is concentration of power which has caused sense of deprivation in urban Sindh.

Farooq Sattar also condemned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for opposing idea of new province in Sindh. The MQM leader staged walk out along with other party workers following his speech in the parliament.
