MQM Solidarity Day to support Pakistan Army

Karachi: MQM announces  “Solidarity Day” to support Pakistan Army. MQM appeals people of all religions to attend this rally. “MQM has taken the initiative to support the resolve of nation of Pakistan against terrorism and to promote the sacrifices of Pakistan Army for this country, said MQM leadership.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Information Wing has said that said that MQM’s has received tremendous response after its announcement for a rally in support of Pakistan Army, Rangers, Frontier Constabulary and Police.
They said MQM had received thousands of phone calls, faxes and e-mail messages at its headquarter Nine Zero and International Secretariat London  from people across Pakistan. These people have expressed their support to the call of the rally and has said they will participate in large numbers.
The Information Wing  has said that Qaid-e-Tehreek has been informed about the response of the people for Solidarity Rally.
“MQM’s Rally is in fact Nationality Solidarity Rally. I appeal to people living in  Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan to participate in the rally in large numbers if they can come to Karachi easily, “ Mr. Hussain appealed.
Mr. Hussain said that this rally had been called at a short notice. He added, “ It is not possible for MQM to make arrangements to bring people from other provinces. People can reach Karachi using different modes of transportation on personal levels.  I also appeal to people in Karachi to participate in the rally in large numbers and tell the world that Pakistanis supports their army, police, FC and rangers in their fight against terrorism.”

His Royal Highnes conveyed his heartfelt acknowledgement to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu for the participation of Pakistan Air Force contingent comprising JF-17 Block-III fighter jets alongside air and ground crew in the Bahrain International Airshow. Chief of the Air Staff expressed his gratitude for the honour of receiving the Bahrain Medal - First Class. On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
