Mismanagement of PTI caused deaths at Multan rally: Rasheed

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal minister for information Pervaiz Rasheed has said that mismanagement of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) caused death of people in Multan rally.

At least seven persons were killed while more than 40 others sustained injuries when a stampede occurred at the PTI rally in Multan on Friday night.

In a statement, the minister flayed the PTI Chairman Imran Khan for criticizing police and administration about the incident.

The information minister also asked Imran Khan to wait for the general elections 2018 and avoid misleading people.

Rasheed said that Imran Khan is following VIP culture as he could not attend the funeral prayers of his party workers in Multan due to non-availability of VIP airplane.
