London plan has totally flopped: Nawaz Sharif

LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the ‘London plan’ has totally flopped and its fate is before the nation.

His statement comes in reference to sit-in protests staged by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) separately on the Constitution Avenue in Islamabad since mid-August.

Talking briefly to media persons in London on Wednesday, the prime minister said that those who wanted to push the country backward have failed in their designs.

The prime minister vowed to continue the journey towards progress and prosperity of the country.

Sharif will travel from London to New York where he will address the annual session of the UN General Assembly on Friday.
