Lahore: The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) will organise the Lahore International Tourism Expo (LITE) on April 20 and April 21 at Expo Centre Lahore, said TDCP managing director Habib ur Rehman Gillani, in a press release issued here on Monday.

The TDCP MD said that the aim of holding the Expo was to gather the stack holders of Tourism Industry under one roof and create awareness in the public regarding the challenges facing the fast growing industry of the world in Pakistan.

More than 150 stalls of hotels, airlines, air ticketing and travel agents, tours operators, transport companies, adventure and tourism clubs, educational institutions, tourism institute, chef collages will be installed. In general public interest, different types of cultural and musical programme arranged in Expo will also provide a lot of entertainment and fun games for children and families followed by an Art and Photo exhibition in LITE.

The famous bike stunt man of Germany, Chris Pfiffer, will show different stunts on motorbike to entertainment and attract the people in LITE. In LITE, different kinds of games/competitions will be arranged and TDCP will give prizes to the winners of competition and lucky draws.

In LITE, lot of tourism experts’ participation is expected and the TDCP will also arrange a conference during the LITE in which the participants will discuss the challenges & solution faces by the tourism industry, inter-provincial and sustainable tourism and a consolidate tourism policy. A large number of tourist and general public is expected to attend the Expo.
