KPK LG polls to be held on May 30: ECP

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The local government elections in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province will take place on May 30 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, according to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

In the schedule issued on the ECP website for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local bodies polls, the commission said that nomination papers will be filed from April 13 to 17 which can be withdrawn by May 5.

The ECP said that the scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held from April 20 to 25 while objections on the nomination papers can be filed on April 19.

The final list of the candidates along with election symbols will be issued on May 6. The election commission will announce final result on June 7.
