ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister for Commerce, Engrineer Khurram Dastgir Khan will represent Pakistan in the 12th World Islamic Economic Forum to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 2-4, 2016.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has nominated Dastgir to participate in the Forum on his behalf and present the overview on economic conditions and the opportunities that lies ahead for the Islamic World, said a statement issued in Islamabad on Friday.

The Minister will also take along with him letters of the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the President of Republic of Indonesia and the Prime Minister of Malaysia who had invited the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the Forum.

The Minister for Commerce will also hold meetings with the representative leaders of the Islamic world and discuss with them the opportunities and avenues of collaboration on trade, investment and economic cooperation.
