QUETTA: Interim Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Thursday was briefed about security measures being taken by law enforcing agencies for the upcoming general elections in Balochistan.

Khoso also reviewed the overall law and order situation in the province while IG FC and IG Police briefed the prime minister about measures taken by the law enforcing agencies.

Governor Balochistan and other senior officials also attended the meeting.

On the occasion, Khoso said that maintaining law and order ahead of the general elections is the priority of the interim government.

He also directed law enforcing agencies to provide security to political leaders and contesting candidates during the election campaign.
