QUETTA, Pakistan: The Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Chief Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti has died of cardiac arrest in Quetta on Monday morning.

Talal Akbar Bugti was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta on Sunday night because of breathing problem where suffered a heart attack on Monday morning which proved to be fatal, according to the JWP Secretary Information Gul Manak Baloch.

Talal Akbar Bugti was the son of former governor of Balochistan and chief minister Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, who was killed in a military operation in Chalgri area of Bhamboor hills of Dera Bugti in 2006.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed sorrow and grief over the demise of Talal Bugti.

The prime minister prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace and give the courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.

Nawaz Sharif appreciated the services of Talal Bugti for stability of democracy. He also lauded his services for carrying out development work in his area.
