He also claimed that chief justice was told not to include him (Justice Shaukat Aziz) into any bench that could listen case of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He claimed that he (Justice Shaukat Aziz) knew where the proceedings of Accountability Court had been going and who goes (had been) to the Supreme Court with a message from someone.

Justice Shaukat Aziz claimed that “We (Judiciary) are not independent and our institution is in the hands of those carrying guns”.

Justice Siddiqui said he did not care about his job and he was conveyed that all references against him would be removed if he would accept the terms.

“Whenever I pass a judgment in a crucial case, a group starts a campaign against me”, claimed Justice Shaukat Aziz.

Referring to historic case “Moulvi Tameezudin Vs State”, Justic Aziz said that law students are (were) still not aware of Justice Munir’s role which is revealed every now and then.

It may be mentioned that Federation of Pakistan v. Maulvi Tamizuddin Khan (1955) is a court case where the then Federal Court of Pakistan (now the Supreme Court of Pakistan) approved dismissal of the 1st Constituent Assembly of Pakistan. The dismissal was legally challenged by Maulvi Tamizuddin Khan, the then President of the Assembly. Except one dissenting opinion, the majority of the court supported the dismissal on grounds of the doctrine of necessity. The verdict was considered a blow to democratic norms and opening the interference of powerful institutions in the affairs of Judiciary.
