North AmericaFazl backs Imran's stance on NATO supplies

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that his party will table a resolution on NATO supplies in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday.

Talking to media representatives in Islamabad on Monday, the JUI-F chief said that his party will support the provincial government-led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) if it issues an executive order to close NATO supplies.

Fazl urged the PTI to refrain from flying solo on issues of national sovereignty. He was of the view that the decisions taken by the All Parties Conference (APC) have become ineffective now after the missile strike, which killed Tehrik-i-Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud.

The JUI-F chief further said that there is need to convene another APC to discuss the emerging situation.
