ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday approved jail-trial of former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf in a case pertaining to detention of Supreme Court judges during 2007 emergency imposed by him.

Police and other officials concerned appeared in the IHC which ruled that Musharraf’s trail will now be held in his Chak Shehzad residence which has been declared sub-jail.

A notification was also issued in the regard, stating that Anti-Terrorism Court judge, Kausar Zaidai, will be hearing the case in the sub-jail. –
