LAHORE, Pakistan: Federal Minister for Finance Senator Ishaq Dar on Saturday stressed the need for early completion of Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital in Swat.

Presiding over a meeting to review Punjab Hospitals Trust (Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital SWAT) at 90 Shahrah-e-Quaid-i-Azam, he said that authorities concerned must put in their best efforts to make the hospital operational soon as it was essential for ensuring better healthcare services to the kidney patients of Swat.

Matters including purchase/installation of equipment, latest position of Human resource, compressor for medical gas system, hospital waste incinerator, Steam generator/boiler, hostels and others came under discussion.

The Minister said that work on all matters should not be delayed and must be completed quickly.

Prof Dr Javed Akram and other officials were also present in the meeting.
