RAWALPINDI: Commander International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), General Joseph E. Dunford, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani in GHQ Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, it was a routine coordination visit, the two discussed matters of mutual interest with particular focus on border coordination measures.

The ISAF commander and Pakistan army chief also exchanged views over security cooperation at Pak-Afghan border and mutual coordination over anti-terrorism campaign.

They also talked over restoration of peace in Afghanistan to international troops’ exit next next year.
