VIENNA, Austria: Iran and six world major powers have reached a historic deal in the Austrian Capital of Vienna over Tehran’s nuclear energy program, according to diplomats.
It comes after days of non-stop negotiations between Iran and the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany which were aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement to settle a decade-old dispute over Iran’s nuclear program.
Under the nuclear deal between the two sides, the six countries would provide Iran with some sanctions relief in exchange for the Islamic Republic agreeing to scale down certain aspects of its nuclear activities.
“All the hard work has paid off and we sealed a deal. God bless our people,” an unnamed diplomat told a foreign news agency on Tuesday.
