ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Interior Minister Malik Muhammad Habib has said the army will be deployed at the polling stations if need arises.

He was talking to newsmen in Islamabad today after chairing a meeting which reviewed law and order situation.

He said the Government will not tolerate security lapse in maintaining peace in the country.

The Minister said Police and law-enforcement agencies will be totally impartial during the election process.
