Indian troops again violate ceasefire

SIALKOT, Pakistan: The Indian troops again resorted to unprovoked firing and mortar shelling along Charwah sector in Sialkot early on Friday.

The sources said that Chenab Rangers effectively responded to the Indian fire.

However, no casualties or loss of life was reported in the firing.

There have been frequent ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary by the Indian troops in the past couple of months.

The Indian border security forces have violated the ceasefire 30 times in 2014 on the LoC and Working Boundary, killing a Rangers personnel and 11 Pakistani civilians.

On the other hand, the Pakistani government has called upon India on many occasions to restrain its security forces from unprovoked firing and shelling across the LoC and the Working Boundary.
