ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred 74 Kashmiris including four women and 12 teenage boys during the last month of July, according to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on Monday.

Three of those martyred were killed in fake encounter while 60 civilians were killed during indiscriminate firing on mourners. These killings rendered three women widowed and eight children orphaned.

During the month, 5,509 people were critically injured when Indian police and paramilitary personnel used brute force and fired pallets and teargas shells against peaceful demonstrators in the occupied territory while 605 civilians, mostly youth, were arrested.

The troops barged into the houses and molested at least 90 women during the period.
