PoliticsImran regrets harsh attitude with Peshawar journalist

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Friday regretted his harsh attitude towards a journalist, who had asked a question regarding his divorce to Reham Khan during a press conference in Peshawar on October 29.

He said he had lost temper when he was questioned about his personal life at a time when he was upset.

Addressing a press conference here at Banni Gala, Imran Khan said that he too was a human being. Instead of sympathising with a sad man, he added, the journalist had hurt his feelings.

He said that he could not tolerate any insulting remarks about his ex-wife and had requested the journalists to avoid questions on the issue.

Imran Khan said that he had respect for journalists and always acknowledged their services and sacrifices for strengthening democracy and raising voice for the oppressed people.
