Government of PakistanImran Khan will always remain in isolation: Pervaiz Rasheed

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rasheed on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan had always been in isolation and would remain isolated in future as well.

Talking to media at DHA in Lahore on Monday, the minister said that the government had not stopped the PTI Chairman from marching towards Raiwind but he was left alone as Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Awami National Party (ANP), Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), and even his political cousin (Dr Tahirul Qadri of Pakistan Awami Tehrik-PAT) had opposed his march.

The information minister said that Imran Khan had made two promises of performing Hajj and marching towards Raiwind during the month of Zil-Hajj but he had fulfilled none yet. He added that as far as Imran’s first promise was concerned, he was not blessed by the Almighty to perform Hajj as he seemed to have made some wheeling and dealing with the ‘devil’.

Rasheed said that Imran Khan could not get the blessings of Allah Almighty and could not get realized his dream of wearing a ‘Sherwani’.

Pervaiz Rasheed said that a politician from Rawalpindi, who had always been talking of ‘sacrifice’ on every Eid, had now purchased a camel worth Rs 100,000 for sacrificial purpose.

Talking about the Hajj arrangement, the minister said that today everyone preferred to perform Hajj under the government scheme because of better arrangements and less expenses.

The minister said that during the past government, Hajj expenses were very high but the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif reduced the same substantially. He felicitated on his own and on behalf of PML-N leadership to all those who performed Hajj this year.

While maintaining its three years best track record, he said that the PML-N government had made the best Hajj arrangements this year as well.
