Imran Khan following secret agenda, says Rasheed

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal minister for information Pervaiz Rasheed has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is following a secret agenda to wrap up the democratic system.

In an interview with a private television channel, the minister said that demands of Imran Khan have been accepted by the government but he continues to change his stance.

The information minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has provided Imran Khan an opportunity to prove the rigging allegations before the judicial commission.

Earlier in his address to the nation on Tuesday night, the prime minister announced the constitution of a commission under three Supreme Court judges to probe into rigging allegations pertaining to general elections held in May last year.

However, Imran Khan later in a press conference demanded the resignation of the prime minister before poll rigging investigation begins, adding that his party would continue with the scheduled long march to the federal capital.
