KARACHI: After latest act of terrorism in Swat, the IGP of Sindh has issued instructions to senior police officers for up gradation of election security plan in Karachi.

Sindh IGP, Shahid Nadim Baloch, has also issued instructions for assured security of candidates, political and religious parties’ leaders, and public in the metropolis.

Alert and vigilant police officials should be deployed at entrances, exits of province, airports, railway stations and buses stands of the province, added the Sindh IGP in his instructions.

Shahid Nadim Baloch has directed the senior police officers to make sure patrolling and police picketing in sensitive areas of the city.

Police officials performance in these sensitive areas should also be monitored, instructed the Sindh IGP to senior police officers in Karachi.
