ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Malik Habib Khan has said the topmost priority of the caretaker government is to hold peaceful‚ transparent and fair elections.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad to review law and order situation in the country‚ he directed to further tighten the security‚ enhance patrolling and increase checking at exit and entry points.

He also directed for making fool-proof security arrangements for leaders of all political parties.
