NationalGeneral Raheel completely satisfied over operational preparedness of armed forces

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday expressed his complete satisfaction over operational preparedness of armed forces at the Line of Control (LoC), according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

While talking to soldiers during his visit to Headquarters 10 Corps, responsible for entire LoC area, the COAS appreciated state of morale of deployed troops and level of vigilance being maintained.

The COAS was given comprehensive briefing on prevalent situation at LoC and operational preparedness of the units and formations.

Earlier, Corps Commander Lieutenant General Malik Zafar Iqbal received the COAS on his arrival at Corps Headquarters.

His visit follows a series of fire exchanged by Pakistan and Indian armies at various sectors of LoC in recent days after relations between the two neighbours simmered over the Uri attack.
