DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A court in Dera Ismail Khan has awarded three-year imprisonment to former Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) MPA Khalifa Abdul Qayyum for possessing fake degree.

Meanwhile‚ the District and Session’s Court of Dera Ghazi Khan has indicted former MPA of PML-N‚ Mir Badshah Qisrani in a fake degree case.

District and Session Court‚ Sibi has awarded one year punishment and 5000 rupees fine to former Federal Minister Humayun Aziz Kurd in the fake degree case.

Police have arrested Humayun Aziz Kurd.

Election Commission of Pakistan has declared the degree of ex-parliamentarian Agha Mohammad as invalid.

The Commission forwarded his case to the respective session court.

Maulana Agha Mohammad was elected as member National Assembly on the ticket of JUI-F in 2008 and his name was also included in the 14-member party list who will be contesting upcoming elections from Balochistan.
