ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Foreign investment dropped by 65 percent in Pakistan in 10 months of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-16.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), foreigners invested around USD 630 million in July 2015-April 2016 period compared to last fiscal year’s more than USD 1 billion, private news channel reported.

However, direct foreign investment in the country increased by five percent but investors withdrew around USD 380 million during the first 10 months.

Experts have said that local and foreign investors would trust Pakistani’s economy more if the government betters its policies.
