Monitoring Desk: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari politely snubbed an Indian journalist who tried to pass controversial comments on Pakistan Army.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while answering India Today’s Managing Editor Rahul Kanwal in Davos categorically said that Pakistan Army had been fighting against terrorism and this is his Army that is protecting the boundaries of Pakistan.

Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that despite hostilities, the youth of both countries understand that the only solution is peace.

He further said that both nations should take the median approach and take smaller steps on both sides and see how they can take confidence-building measures.

Unfortunately Pakistani media did not promote this interview which explains the level of maturity Bilawal Bhutto expressed when he was facing critical as well as sluggish questions from an Indian journalist

Bilawal Bhutto was of the view that peace could not be brought and bought through allegations and counter allegations and hate speech must be snubbed if both the countries wanted to bring enduring peace to the region.

In a 12-minute extraordinary interview conducted outside under the open sky in snowcapped Davos, Bilawal said that Indian Prime Minister Modi had a past that is linked with Gujarat massacre and this is a reality that could not be denied.

His interview covered several issues and he combatted several tricky questions of Rahul Kanwal with a smiling face but hard gave answers with confidence. Interviewer Rahul Kanwal looked confident at the start of the interview that he would trap young Bilawal in a web of critical questions. However, by the end of the interview, Rahul had nothing in his hands that could help Indian journalists to use as juicy material against Pakistan.
