FIR of Faisalabad Ganged Rape case against sons of MNA Mian Farooq
Faisalabad: Social circles of Faisalabad city claim that victim of gang rape has withdrawn case against three sons of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA Mian Farooq under sheer and brutal harassment.
Police registered an FIR number 969 dated September 11, 2014 against three sons of MNA Mian Farooq and five other unknown persons for allegedly raping a girl of D- Park Millat Town Faisalabad.
Her report claimed that the victim S (Name withheld) along with her friends was going to market when Muazzam Farooq, former chairman Zila Council Faisalabad, his two brothers Saad Farooq, Qasim Farooq and five others kidnapped her in a Prado jeep, took her to a nearby villa and ganged rape her.
Now just after three days, S has been dropped her complaint and police said she is not interested to follow the case. According to SP Madina Town Nasir Sial, S submitted an affidavit before the investigation officer dropping the charges against Mian Muazzam Farooq, Mian Saad Farooq, Mian Qasim Farooq and five others.
The girl said she is unwilling to give a blood sample for a DNA test and stated in the affidavit that there is no need to carry out DNA tests on the accused. The police have therefore dropped the case.
Social circles of Faisalabad claim that victim family is poor and powerless and cannot fight with accused therefore MNA Mian Muhammad Farooq managed to harassed them and withdraw case against his sons.
