ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to record the statement of former Interior Minister Rehman Malik in the former President Pervez Musharraf’s account.
Sources privy to the development say Rehman Malik was Chief Security Office of Benazir Bhutto and was responsible for her security needs.
“Why Malik failed to stop Ms. Bhutto from coming out of her bullet-proof vehicle to wave the crowd,” according to sources.
The questions raised by the former president in his statement would be put to Malik for answers.
The FIA is likely to record Malik’s statemennt in the next few days.
