Federal govt will not create any hurdle in PTI’s rally on Nov 30: Nisar

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal minister for interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Wednesday that the government is ready for dialogue with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) but the dialogue would be held after November 30.

Talking to media representatives in Islamabad on Wednesday, the interior minister said that talks cannot be held in a threat laden environment.

Imran Khan-led PTI continues to hold stage sit-in protest in the federal capital against the alleged rigging in 2013 general elections since mid-August and even has announced that a ‘decisive war’ will be fought against the rulers on November 30 in Islamabad.

The interior minister said that the government would not create any hurdle in holding rally by the PTI on November 30. However, he warned that if somebody tried to violate the law, the government and the administration would deal with iron hands.

The minister said that in case of illegal protest, the law would come into action much before November 30. He added that the police force is fully capable to respond to the situation as it did on August 31.

Nisar said that the PTI should declare before the nation what it plans to do on that day.

Moreover, he said that the government would facilitate if the public meeting is held and daily routine of residents of Islamabad is least disturbed

Plan of second attack on Pakistan devised: Rasheed

Meanwhile, the federal information minister Pervaiz Rasheed said in a statement that a plan of second attack on Pakistan has been devised and added that this attack would also be foiled like the previous one, in a particular reference to the PTI’s rally on November 30.

The information minister said that the London plan was worked out by Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri and not by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari.

Rasheed said that Imran Khan is actually afraid of completion of five-year tenure by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government.
