ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal minister for defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the government is still ready to hold meaningful dialogue with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to resolve political issues.
In an interview with a private TV channel, the defence minister said that the government made serious and sincere efforts to resolve the issues through dialogue.
The defence minister while commenting on PTI’s public meeting in Lahore said that though it was a good show, it did not mean that Imran Khan’s popularity graph has increased.
Khawaja Asif said that three electricity meters each were installed at residences of Imran Khan in Banigala and Zaman Park and eight at the house of his party’s Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Multan to reduce bills amount which is a sheer violation of the law.
