Federal budget 2014-15 to be announced on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD: The federal government will present its second budget with an outlay of about Rs3.8 trillion for the financial year 2014-2015 in the National Assembly on Tuesday.

The federal minister for finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar will present the budget at 4:30 pm.

After a four-day break the lower house of the parliament will begin general debate on the budget.

Besides diplomats and other dignitaries, first time President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Zakaria Usman, Zonal Chairman PFCCI Islamabad, Munawar Mughal, VP SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Pak Chapter Iftikhar Ali Malik have also been invited to witness the budget session proceedings.

The annual budget sessions of the Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assemblies will also be convened soon after presentation of national budget.
