QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said his party will work for restoration of peace in the country.
Speaking at a public rally in Quetta‚ he said JUI-F had held successful talks with tribal elders to restore peace in tribal areas.
The all-party conference convened by the JUI-F had helped in taking the political leadership of the tribal areas into confidence.
The JUI-F chief expressed concern over the security situation in Balochistan and said if the people of the province wanted to see end to violence then they should support his party in the general elections.
He said the JUI-F is struggling for the enforcement of Islamic laws in the country and for economic development.
