PakistanFasih Bukhari refuses to confirm or deny reports about his resignation

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Admiral (retd) Fasih Bukhari on Monday refused to confirm or rule out the reports about his resignation, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

Bukhari arrived in the Supreme Court today morning as a two-member bench of the apex court was set to resume the hearing of NAB investigation officer Kamran Faisal’s death case.

Upon asking a question whether he had resigned from his post or written any letter to the President of Pakistan, he replied saying that he wants to enjoy the pleasant weather.

Chairman NAB said that he is neither confirming nor denying any news about his resignation.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Chairman NAB in a letter to President Asif Ali Zardari said that NAB officers were under pressure from the Supreme Court and they were not being given enough time to investigate cases and to implement the court’s orders.
